The audit agent

Every press is checked by an AI audit agent before it can be published. Nothing goes live without passing.

The one rule

The audit asks: is this press accurate, and is it free of manipulation?

It does not ask whether the news is good or bad for the stock. True negative analysis passes. Opinion passes when it's framed as opinion. A publication that only printed good news would be a pump, and readers would be right to leave it.

What it checks

CheckWhat it looks for
NumbersCurrent prices, ranges, volumes and dates must match live market data. Figures it can't verify are noted, and are blocked only if implausible
SourcesNo invented company announcements or quotes presented as fact without a named source
ManipulationGuaranteed returns, pressure to buy or sell now, price targets stated as certain, coordinated-pump language
RelevanceThe press is really about the stock token it's paired with
DefamationNo unsupported claims about named people
OriginalityNo spam or copied boilerplate
PreviewThe free preview fairly represents the full version

It also reads the publisher's wallet. If the wallet holds the paired stock token, the press is labelled Publisher holds for every reader.

How it decides

  1. Facts first. The agent fetches the token's live quote and the publisher's balance of that token.
  2. Hard rules. Obvious promotional phrases such as "guaranteed returns" are rejected immediately.
  3. Model review. The model reads the press against the facts and returns a verdict, a score from 0 to 100, and a list of issues.

Each issue has a severity:

SeverityMeaning
BlockerMust be fixed. A press with a blocker can't be approved
FixShould be corrected before publishing
NoteAn observation. Doesn't stop publishing

Verdicts

VerdictResult
ApproveThe press can be minted and published
ReviseFixable problems, with specific instructions. Edit and audit again
RejectManipulation, fabrication, defamation or spam

A press can be audited up to eight times. After that, start a new draft.

AI-assisted presses

When a press began as an AI draft, the audit also receives the exact facts the draft was written from, and holds the press's numbers and news claims strictly to them.

What readers see

The audit score and a short summary are shown on every press. The text of the press is fingerprinted when it's approved, so it can't be changed afterwards without failing a check.

The audit can be wrong

It's an AI. It can pass something it shouldn't, or block something fair. Treat the score as one signal alongside the publisher's record and the votes.

Nothing published on Capital Press is investment advice.
